"Happiness",Everybody has their own theory about it.I just wanted to know what it is...tried to find its exact definition.I asked many of my friends.one striking reply i got "happiness means absence of sadness".The answer is straight and seems to be the essence of the literal meaning the word happiness carries.but is that all?I felt its inadequate.I wished to know more elaborately about how people perceive this word.
some of my friends said watching a cricket match,playing with kids,spending time with their beloved ones,making beloved ones happy bring happiness to them.very true.when we do something which our heart loves we feel happy.But again.. is tat all?we do one or many out of all in our wish list in our day to day life.But even then are we absolutely happy?No is the most probable answer.It happened to me to come across a very beautiful thought about happiness."happiness is not something we have.Its something which we always pursue". very true,is n't it?infact this idea about happiness perpetuates life.We live,we earn,we save,we make plans we have hopes because we believe there is always a better tomorrow or exactly a happier tomorrow.It is the distance distance between today and happiness that keeps us going.It is because we asssume that the meaning of happiness is achieving our goal.interetingly,to some or many,this pursuit never ends as thier so called goals or aim or simple needs never end.

Kavya...i feel the happiness is within oneself......the true happiness can be achieved only within from him...the outside world things which gives happiness will be very momentary n will not be a long lasting one....dats y his pursuit never stops...so dats not the true happiness according to me...
And moreover everything in dis world depends on hw we take things...hw u perceive...if u take things positively nothing can break u....so it all depends on ur intake n not on the external world or situations...so i finally say happiness , sadness all lies within oneself...
